CMA Designing New Website: Physician Input Needed

As part of our efforts to communicate more effectively with California physicians, the California Medical Association is embarking on the process of redesigning its website. To ensure the end product is a CMA website that best meets the needs of California physicians and your myriad interests and ways of practice, we need to hear from you.

Do you want more practice management assistance? To know more about legislation impacting your practice and what CMA is doing to help? To have access to more information on public health or developments in your field? Do you want a forum to exchange views and ideas, increased social networking opportunities, or an online advocacy center to contact your legislators or local press?

Please help us meet your needs by answering these questions and others in this short survey no later than June 19. Your input is invaluable.

Have 10 Minutes? You Can Help the CMA Foundation Promote Appropriate Antibiotic Use

The CMA Foundation’s Alliance Working for Antibiotic Resistance Education (AWARE) project supports physician efforts to promote appropriate antibiotic use and decrease the incidence of antibiotic resistance. The project brings together physicians, pharmacists, health plans, and key health care stakeholders to develop the AWARE provider toolkit and other educational materials for physicians and patients.

The CMA Foundation is asking physicians take a brief survey to help ensure that AWARE continues to be a useful source of information for California’s health care professionals. The survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete, and participants will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card.
