There are a number of laws governing the administration of vaccines. With the passage of Senate Bill (S.B.) 277, Stats. 2015, ch. 35, which removes the personal belief exemption (PBE) from school vaccination requirements, it is essential that physicians understand their rights and obligations concerning vaccines. This document discusses the state laws regarding vaccination requirements for school-aged children and adult day care and health care workers, including the mandated distribution of vaccine materials.
