The 2013 California Immunization Coalition Summit, “Reaching Immunization Equity,” will be held April 14-15 in Los Angeles.
Topics for this year's summit include identifying under-immunized populations; how to use key data sources to persuade decision makers, the public and other audiences to vaccinate; how to increase vaccination rates across populations by creating strong community partnerships; and adaptation of successful vaccination programs for underserved populations.
Featured speakers include Litjen Tan, Ph.D., Chief Strategy Officer for the Immunization Action Coalition; Anthony Iton, M.D., Senior Vice President for Healthy Communities at The California Endowment; and Ginny Heller, of Within Reach Washington and VAX Northwest.
