The CMA Collaborative Just Culture Technical Advisory Committee (CJC TAC) will review literature and other information reflecting patient safety efforts, medical liability, early resolution programs, and importantly, the systems and human factors that impact reliability and culture, performance, behavior, and safety in health care settings. The CJC TAC will deliberately and thoroughly review the opportunities and risks of implementing collaborative just culture programs for healthcare organizations. The CJC TAC will make policy recommendations to the Board of Trustees to support CMA’s long-standing goals to improve patient safety, fortify the sanctity of the physician patient relationship, support clinician well-being, and minimize litigation.
