Is it safe to use my credit card on-line?
The California Medical Association recognizes the importance of privacy and security regarding the
information you send us over the Internet. Security is one of our
highest priorities and we have devoted a great deal of effort to ensure
that our on-line security measures help to safeguard your information.
The CMANet website is registered with site
identification authorities to enable your browser to CMA's identity before any transmission is sent. With this
technology, the identity of our site is automatically confirmed behind
the scenes prior to the transmission of any customer information
requested to complete an on-line order.
If you are using a security-enabled browser, the information you send us regarding your purchase
is encrypted, making it extremely difficult to read even if it is wrongly
intercepted.If you are uncomfortable with submitting your personal information via
the Internet for any reason, please feel to use the other ordering option listed on the "How to Order" page.
How is shipping and handling calculated?
If you are ordering on-line, shipping and handling charges are automatically added to the total. If you are ordering via fax or mail, remember to add shipping and handling to the subtotal of the order.

Do I have to include tax?
Only California residents are required to pay tax on ordered items. The current California State tax rate is 7.25%. For detailed county tax rates, please click here.
When will I receive my order?
Shipment is F.O.B. Many overseas and all U.S. packages are sent via UPS. It is very important that you supply us with a street address. UPS does not deliver to post office boxes. Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery on most orders; overseas orders take longer. Special arrangements can be made to ship your order overnight, but you will be charged for the extra cost. Please specify if you would like your order shipped via UPS next day, UPS two-day service, or Federal Express (be sure to include your Federal Express number).
Refund/Cancellation policy
Returns Policy
You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original packaging. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
Refunds
If you mistakenly download a document twice, we will refund the amount charged on you credit card for the duplicate item.
Exchanges
Exchanges are not authorized on downloaded items. Exchanges of other publications or items are handled under the Returns Policy set forth above.
Any exceptions to these policies are at the discretion of the California Medical Association.
Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once we receive them.
