CMA offers online education for members and nonmembers, including MDs, RNs and other allied health professionals. This program—approved for 1 hour of
Category 1 CME credit—is based on presentations made at the 8th Annual California Statewide Medical & Health Disaster Management Conference (2005). This online course will be available until September 30, 2006. Note that not all presentations given at the live disaster conference could be included in this online presentation.
Accreditation: The California Medical Assn. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to sponsor continuing education for physicians. The CME credit may be applied toward the CMA certification in medical education and the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credit hours that he/she actually spent in the activity.
